Pretty unusual subject matter for palette knife but I thought I'd try it. The skin is the only part that is not created by knife. The books just seemed impossible to convey because there were so many so I guess I cheated a little bit.
With the knife its easy to "imply" o create the impression of something that's there instead of drawing every little detail out.
Ramandip Singh is a painter specializing in portraiture, knife work and murals. The paintings he creates are inspired by many travels (including travels to his homeland of India), personal relationships and his experiences of selective moments in life. He enjoys creating atmospheric story pieces of humans traveling through the journey of life. With his palette knife, he creates focused and textured elements, while keeping the atmosphere vague and suggestive.
